Hayley Orrantia, an American actor, singer, and music producer. Many people recognize her as Erica Goldberg, from the show 'The Goldbergs' on television. But she is primarily an avid music fan. Music, according to her, is first thing she loves. She started playing with the instrument at the age of nine. As she grew to 12 years old, the music she was playing took an adolescent turn and she started training professionally. She ventured into songwriting at 13 and was only 14 when she recorded her first album of cover songs. Since then there has been no looking back. Orrantia is an American native who has Hispanic origins. Even though she spoke only English throughout her childhood and never been to Mexico Orrantia is happy with her Hispanic origins. She strives to preserve it by becoming fluent in Spanish and writing songs in the language. One of her efforts was a Spanish song titled 'Hasta Verte..' Orrantia appeared on The X Factor during its inaugural season, which aired in the summer of 2011. The Orrantia's YouTube video was picked and she received four "yeses", or votes by the judges at the Seattle audition. The first time she auditioned, she was solo but in "Hollywood Week" she was put along with three female vocalists in a trio for the remainder of the auditions. They were eliminated in the fifth week in the live performances.
