Pooja Hedge was born on 13 October 1990 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She is a model as well as an Indian film actress known for her roles in films such as Tamil Telugu, and Hindi. She was raised in an Hindu family by Manjunath, Latha and their son. Rishabh Hegde is her elder brother. Pooja belongs to a clan that is predominantly located in Udupi. She can speak Hindi and also Tamil Telugu Kannada & English. Pooja was always interested in modeling and fashion from a young age. After that, she chose to make a profession of an actress and model. She started modelling while she was still studying. She was a participant in Miss Universe India 2010, where she finished as the second place runner. The direction she took in her career was to film. To get the break-in movies she met several southern filmmakers and Mughmodo was the very first film in her professional career.
