Annie Mist Thorisdottir works as a professional CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also the owner of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it also. Annie is the only female in history to have won the CrossFit Games two times. In 2010, she finished second. Annie Thorisdottir from Iceland is a weightlifter who is also a CrossFit athlete as well as a popular journalist. She has won the CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice as the first women. Winner of The Dubai Fitness Competition 2013 and 2017, Annie is well-known. Annie was brought up with her family at Reykjavik Iceland. She enjoyed playing sports and worked out from the age of five. The first time she competed was in CrossFit in California in 2009. She did well during her first competitions. Annie Thorisdottir is, as of 2021, is 31 years old. She stands at 5'7" and she weighs around about 67kg. Annie was the first to start CrossFit in California, in 2009. She was successful in her first competitions and finished with the top 10. Although she didn't achieve any championships and finished her tournament in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. At the CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she placed second and took home a silver medal in the same year. In the following year she was a participant in another CrossFit events and thanks to her dominant performance she won the contest becoming the first woman to win CrossFit Games. Annie's exceptional performance in 2012 brought her to a second CrossFit Games victory. This was her second time that she was able to win consecutively. She also received a medal of silver in 2014 and a medal of bronze in CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie trains and coaches with her team at Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie is an athlete on the rise who has been the face for many brands such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs as well as Nuun Hydration, Renaissance Periodization as well as Sidekick Yerbae.
