Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American author, singer and actress best known for playing Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. The Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in for her first stage appearance. In the 1950s she performed as a stage performer in a few Broadway plays before breaking through into national fame with the release of Li'l Abner's performance in the year 1957. In 1957, she also released her debut music album named It's time to Tina. Louise made her foray into Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's Small Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The film received a lot of praise and Louise received her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. Louise enrolled in Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's teacher. The next notable role she played in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS signed her up to play in the year 1964. Louise was able to balance her acting career successfully in between Broadway television and Hollywood portraying somber characters as opposed to her image as an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series, as well as Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently, she's also become a popular director for well-known TV series like Supernatural or The 100. Her birth date was 28 August 1965, in Essex. As a young girl, 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto where she lived throughout her early years. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver in Canada following her choice to play the lead.
