David Muir, an American journalist, anchoring the ABC News magazine 20 years old, is best known as the co-anchor for World News Tonight With David Muir. Its dramatic video footage and its animated gestures make it the most watched American newscast. Made In America was nominated for an Emmy. His predecessor, Diane Sawyer's anchor of choice before he took over ABC World News Tonight. He reported on many primetime ABC News specials, including Breaking Point - Heroin in America. He has covered news around the globe, including in Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti. The awards he has received include numerous Edward R. Murrow Awards, as well as distinctions from the Associated Press.
