Ina Garden is a famous American book author, who has been awarded Emmy award. She hosts the oldest Food Network program, Barefoot Contessa. The show premiered in 2002. The show will run for 27 more seasons. Ina started her career in the White House as a writer of documents on nuclear energy as well as the budget. She initially adored the intellectual rigors of her job, but eventually, she stopped her interest. Instead she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty restaurant. It took her 18 years to make the store extremely successful before letting it go and picking up the pen and writing her first cookbook. Many more cookbooks, and magazines columns that followed.
